Monday ( March Break )

I asked my friend  Manal milad about how to spent March Break ? She told me ,how to spent her good time with her family .She sade that , my two kids (8 and 13 ) and i spent the last weekend of March break with a friend and my two kids and also my friend kids at big hotel . And this hotel was very nice .It was near by a big waterpark and perfect for all the kids .So it was March break that's whey the park did not feel crowded  . And we had a good time spent all together .

Co-Op ( Canadian  Experience ) program :

The Co-operative Education program is a non-paid volunteer program that helps students to gain valuable work experience and earn credits at the same time. Co-op students gain on-the-job experience and strengthen skills required by employers. This experience, plus the references and contacts developed, will be very useful when looking for employment.    

Computer courses :

This course introduces students to the use of information technology in the business environment.  Students will learn how to use information technology in a work environment . Its very impotent thinkg's .

Field trip

It was a great tripe . we was start our jerny  9.30 o'clock and we rich there 10:20 . And we meet in entrance of Toronto City Hall . Here i saw  our hole class students attentively attend there .Then we explore in the hole  billing . Then we saw there office of the mayor .And we took lunch at luncheon food court .After that we saw in the out said office area . Explore Bay street and Toronto underground city . And finally we enter the job fair at one king street west hotel .So. overall it was a great expareance to us .

Comment of Link class

It is a great experience to attend Link class . From Link class, I have learnt many things. They also provide child care service which is very helpful for us. The best part of Link class is to have an opportunity to explore Canada through regular field trip in different places, Everyday we learn new things from class participation, guest speakers presentation and periodic workshops, I firmly believe that attending this course allow me to further enhance my learning curve which will eventually help me to build a good career.

Advice to my friend about admission into a program at Seneca college

Dear Fatema,

In my opinion, if you can complete a degree from Seneca college it will add value to your career. Seneca is a very reputed college and the program seems very relevant for you. To complete your degree from Seneca college you need to have an overall grade of C+ (2.5) which is more than 65% marks.

I believe if you can spend at least 3-4 hours everyday to study the course materials and regularly attend the classes, you should not have any difficulty to complete your graduation. However, the college is very strict regarding the academic policy. If you fail or get D to any of the courses then you have to do it again.

I will advice you to get admission into this program if you think you can study regularly and you are interested in this subject. I am sure you will enjoy your study at Seneca college.

IEP Conference

Last Friday, The 12th annul IEP Conference was held on February 27th, 2015 at lower ground of the Metro Toronto Convention. IEP Conference is one of the most innovative and respectful events for Educated Professional Newcomers seeking practical effective career advice. Basically it give opportunities to build networking and gather information from one place.

Unfortunately, I could not attend this workshop due to the sickness of my daughter. However, I asked my friend Manal about it. She told me that in the morning she started for the field trip from DonMills subway station with her friend and reached the IEP conference at 10 am.

She attended 2 programs. The first one is "Health Care and Communication". The second session was on "Finance and Accounting". Every program was for half an hour. Here she met an insurance professional  named Trevor Bttrun who worked for the Insurance Institute of Canada MBA. He told her about the importance of communication, self confidence and organization skills. These are essential soft skills.

At 12 pm she met all other classmates to take a group picture and went for lunch together. She had Chicken and Tuna sandwiches for lunch. The overall experience was very informative for her. She was very happy to have an opportunity to attend this event.

Thursday's Task

1. The foreign Caregiver program has undergone several major revisions. According to new rules, it is now optional for Caregivers to live with their employers.

2. Beginning of this year, the Government has increased the application fee for Canadian Citizenship to $530 per adult applicant.

3. We are doing this because the court has ordered us to do so. We will respect the decision while not agreeing with it.
